...could you expect to see a law banning incandescent light bulbs make it out of committee.
I'm all for energy-efficient light bulbs, we have several in our house, but banning light bulbs seems a little silly. Are we going to see a black market in incandescent bulbs? Are people going to start sneaking them in from out of state? What would the penalties be for such egregious violations of the law?
A new class of criminal... energy offenders?

I'm stockpiling 60-watters, the flourescents make me flatulate.
Power corrupts, and usually it thinks it's doing good as it steps all over our liberty.
I'm thinking this could be a good opportunity... I'll be a "bulb-runner", buy them from one of the free states and make a killing here in the PRK.
Sure am glad the powers that be up in Sac think everything else is squared away so's they can concentrate on crap like this.
Our bedwetting Legislature has way too much time on its hands, they should only serve half-time to prevent further damage, and their salaries cut to reflect that.
DC, on TOP of their salaries, did you know those wastes of space also pull something like $400 for a car allowance? Our legislature is hooked on taxes.
