Bass Pro Shops...

Just recently (as in last week) opened up their very first store in Southern California, in a town by the name of Rancho Cucamonga, about 25 miles from the valley.  I'm very excited to go see all the wonders this large purveyor of things outdoors has to offer, although not quite excited enough to put up with the huge crowds that are reportedly infesting the place at the moment.  Maybe in a week or so...

We have one here too, but we've found that Gander Mountain is just as stocked, with fewer people clogging the eisles!

G'day Kevin,

Nice to check out your site again. Been a while since we last said G'day.

Nice to know you have a rugby background.

Cheers

David

Mushy, that has to be the very first time I've heard of Gander Mountain - had to go check that out. Unfortunately, no stores here in CA...
David - g'day! Yeah, I used to play prop forward for my school, and for the local rugby club. I did a bit at college here in the States too, but it's not real popular around here so not too many teams to play...

LOL! Gander Mountain was my favorite store in Duluth, MN! Also, I checked out the Bass Pro Shop at Victoria Gardens today with my dad, and the place was sooooo packed that we couldn't get a parking place and ended up saying "screw it" and not going in. We dined on sushi across the street instead. But I enjoyed the Bass Pro Shop in Vegas...
