Escaping
The summer heat in the valley has been particularly oppressive this week, so we bolted to my wife's parents place at the beach for the weekend to get some relief. It's cooler, but not much and the air is still, which is a surprise. Still better than roasting in the desert right now, though and we've got good eats coming up so I have to split. Enjoy your weekend!

We've had a psycho-weather weekend, heating up to 101 on Saturday then dumping to 70 on Sunday - and it did the same thing last weekend.
Hope you guys are away from the effects of the fires down there, looks like a lotta smoke is being produced.
